Is it easy to get Vietnam visa for Omani citizen?

As an Omani passport holder, you are required to apply for Vietnam visa in order to travel to Vietnam for any purposes.  In general, there are two ways of getting Vietnam visa for Omani citizen:

1. Procedure
   

You will send us a copy of your passport along with your proposal entry and exit date to vietnamvisavoa@gmail.com. Our staff then will check your detail before sending you invoice to make payment for service fee for your visa request. Your visa approval letter will be issued by Vietnam Immigration Department after just one to threee working days and a copy of the visa letter will be sent to your email.  What all you need to do is to print out the documents, take with you to airport and check in your flight. Once you arrive in Vietnam Airport, you show up the Vietnam visa approval letter and other documents, pay for stamping fee to get a Vietnam visa stamped on your passport. Now, you are welcomed in beautiful Vietnam country.

As the requirement for Vietnam visa on arrival for Omani citizen is simple and procedure is relatively straightforward, Vietnam visa on arrival is much preffered by all most travellers from all over the world.

       2. Vietnam visa fee

As for Omani passport holder, it costs $ 65 US service fee online to get your Vietnam visa approval letter issued within some working days (from 2 to 4 working days). This is service fee that you pay when you send your visa request confirmation. Besides, as other applicants from other countries, you must pay for stamping fee, either $ 25 or $50 US depends upon your Vietnam visa type (1 month/ 3 months/ single/ multiple).

2. Applying for Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy

Applying for Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy means that you will approach the Embassy of Vietnam in Oman personally and submit your Vietnam visa application directly at Vietnam Embassy.

What is a pity that there is NO Vietnam Embassy in Oman, yet. Therefore, if you are Omani living in Oman and you would like to visit Vietnam, the only option is to get Vietnam visa on arrival as indicated above.
