Questions: I am a Chinese passport holder but I have been living in Singapore. How can I apply for visa to visit Vietnam?
Answer: Being a Chinese passport holder living in Vietnam, you can get Vietnam visa in 2 different ways:

1.    Apply for Vietnam visa on arrival

This way is highly recommended first because it is preferred  by many worldwide  travellers and businessmen for its convenience and simplicity. Instead of traveling to Vietnam Embassy to submit visa application and pick up your physical visa, you just need to stay at home or anywhere which connects to Internet, you complete a Vietnam visa application form online with your personal detail and some information about your trip such as:
–    Fullname
–    Passport number:
–    Nationality:
–    Entry date:
–    Exit date:
–    Port of arrival:

After submitting the form, you are going to pay for service fee online in order to get you Vietnamese visa approval letter done within 1 or 2 working days. With this visa approval letter, you will be able to get on plane to Vietnam and then get your Vietnam visa stamped in your passport upon arrival.

2.    Apply for visa at Vietnam embassy in Singapore

If you are close to Vietnam Embassy in Singapore and you are sure of having enough time to submit and collect the documents at Embassy, you also could apply for your Vietnam visa in Singapore.

Important note:
When you apply for Vietnam visa, please keep in mind that:

• Your passport must be at least 6 months validity since the entry date to Vietnam
• Vietnam visa on arrival is accepted when you travel to Vietnam by air only. 
• If you apply for Vietnam visa on arrival, make sure that you have a proper Vietnam visa approval letter issued by Vietnam Immigration to board your plane.
