When applying for Vietnam visa on arrival, applicants will receive Vietnam visa approval letter and Vietnamese visa application form. They are requested to print out the documents and fill in the Vietnamese visa application form in order to get Vietnam visa stamped on their passport when they arrive in Vietnam. Applicants often have difficulties in filling in the Vietnamese visa application form. So today, we are going to instruct you in detail how to fill up the form easily without stress.
Vietnamese visa application form is used to call entry and exit form (NA1 form) and now it is Vietnamese visa application form. This can be filled as follows:
1. Full name: Write down your full name In CAPITAL as it is shown in your passport
Ex: PETER ROBINSON
2. Sex: male or female
3. Date of birth: write in DD/MM/YYYY format. Ex: 25/03/1967
4. Place of birth: Write both city and country name. Ex: Melbourne, Australia
5. Nationality at birth: Your nationality when you were born. Ex: Australian
6. Current nationality: Fill in your current nationality as shown in your current passport. Ex: Australian
7. Religion: Your religion (if any) or “NONE” (if not)
8. Occupation: Your job or leave it Blank if you are jobless/retired. Ex: Engineer
9. Employer and business address: may have it filled out or leave it blank
10. Permanent residential address: Your address and phone number in your country
11. Family members: Fill in the relationship, name, sex, date of birth, nationality and permanent residential address of your family member or friends who knows you well. This information will not affect your trip, it is used in case of emergency only. We recommend you to write down at least 2 contacts eventhough they are not travelling to Vietnam with you.
12. Passport or international travel document number:There are three kinds of passport: ordinary passport, diplomatic passport and official passport. Most common one is Ordinary passport.
13. Fill in the arrival date of previous entry into Vietnam (if any): Write down if you traveled before, if not leave it blank
14. Intended date of entry: Fill in the expected entry date and duration of your stay in Vietnam (can be tentative)
15. Purpose of entry: Entry purpose as indicated in the visa approval letter: Tourism or business.
16. Intended temporary residential address in Vietnam (if any): your hotel address or any other accomodation.
17. Hosting organization/individual in Vietnam (if any): name and address of your hosting organization/individual in Vietnam (if any), if you are independent travel just write N/A
18. Accompanying child(ren) under 14 years old included in your passport (if any): name, sex, date of birth and glue two photos in 4×6 size of accompanying child(ren) under 14 years old included in your passport. If you do not have any or your child(ren) have own passport(s), leave it blank
19. Applying for a visa: Select either single entry visa or multiple entry visa as mentioned on the visa letter. Also fill in valid duration of visa as written in your Vietnam visa approval letter
20. Other requests (if any): any request if any or N/A
“Done at”: Fill in your arrival airport(one of these airports: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang /Nha Trang)
“On”: The date of arrival in Vietnam
